There is a program to clear all your computer and restore.. This only work on window xp..when u turn on your computer hold down ctrl and F11.. That start your computer from the start when u bought it.
if u want to clear the computer memory, it is a simple process and does not require any softwares as windows has it.
just rightclick the drive and select format.
a dialog box appears and select the quick format check box and click on format button.
if you cannot do this, then go for norton partition magic which does your work

Just perform a format. That will ';erase'; the data and make it unrecoverable unless they use recovery software. If you are really paranoid, you can perform a low level format. Check with the hard drive manufacture on how to do it.
Heres a utility I used a long time ago. I think it's still fully functioning as a trial version. http://www.iolo.com/ds/3/
csanon suggested DBAN, which I think is the best way to clear your computer's hard drive.
First, computer memory is cleared every time you shut off your PC. The hard drive is what you need to clear. Memory and hard drive are two separate entities in a computer. (Had to point that out). Use DBAN instead of simply reformatting or reinstalling Windows as others have suggested. Most reformatting will really only make the computer ';think'; the hard drive is empty, so it will start to overwrite stuff as needed. But, until you do something that will need to write to the disk, all of your old data will still be sitting there. And since you are selling your old PC, all that data will probably still be there since you are no longer using it.
DBAN takes a lot longer, but physically overwrites every byte on the hard drive with garbage. This will make it impossible for some crafty hacker to ever get at your personal data. I used DBAN and it's excellent - just create a CD or floppy disk with DBAN on it and boot the computer with this disk. Follow the menu system and let it go. Be warned though, some of the overwriting methods will take many, many hours to complete (possibly over 24 hours). To me, that's a small price to pay to make sure no one will ever be able to get at your personal data. Oh, and it's free.

Wipe your hard disks with it. And you're done.
i use amust registry cleaner which has a privacy section and wipes all know files you have left in the PC that you want removed
