How do you clear the history of sites visited on your computer?

In case the boss is watching... is there a way to do it other than going to options, delete files and offline content? Does that get rid of everything? How do you clear the history of sites visited on your computer?
Okay here is the full cleaning package haha. First open your internet Explorer. Next go to Tools then Internet Options. Once you are there you can Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and Clear History. Everything is disapeared now. If you want your computer to be refreshed and have no traces left behind also, just go to Start then All Programs then Accessories then Disk Cleanup. This is really quick and easy and it gives your computer a faster and fresher look! Hope this works! How do you clear the history of sites visited on your computer?
if you are using firefox then just go hit the keys control+shift+delete. if you are using internet explorer then go to the history (control+H) and delete the folders for that day you don't want any one to know about.
To be sure, you might also right click on the internet icon, go to ''properties'', ''advanced''and choose ''Empty temporary internet folders when browser is closed''.
i suggest don't surf the net in office cause some companies do install programmes to track the actitivties of you using the computer and the websites you had visited. It's very easy to identify the person using the computer and the time and duration they used.Your boss could have asked the IT guy for a list of '; What Have My Staff Did In Their Computer';
From explorer... Tools - Internet Options. Clear history, cookies ect...
tools menu, internet options, delete history
explorer: Tool, internet options;delete history.

Don't forget to delete your cookies as they may have the website as well; or to double check your history button on the explorer above.
hey!

on ut desktop, right click on the icon of internetexplorer and then clik on properties and then in the general section, there would be written historyand then click on clear history.
If you are using i.e. -%26gt; tools, internet options, clear history
Tools%26gt; Internet Options%26gt; Clear History and also Delete Internet files.
If you are using Yahoo then go the top of the menu and select internet option and you'll see it.
your network administrator may have installed other software that can even play him a video of everything that you do on your computer.

clear cookies, delete offline files, clear cache

Search on Google for your particular browser.
The only regular way of doing it is as you described Internet Options %26gt; Clear History + the ';Delete Files'; buttons there.

However, sometimes the database files that takes care of these two features has a nasty habit of becoming corrupted...... in which case you'll need a ';cache cleaner'; tool, such as the one included in ';ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite'; to shift the damn thing.
I'd just like to point out that if your boss is watching/keep tabs the web addresses would be stored in a file on the network the split second you went to that site.

The only use of deleting off your computer is if he sat in your chair and used your computer.
Internet eliminator
you either click on the histroy icon, or for example I use Mozilla instead of internet explorer, and while in the internet, I hit ctrl and H at the same time, your history will pop up, right click over the day, or site you want deleted, and *poof* all gone.
