How do I clear out the cookies on my computer?

Is there any way I can clear out previous entries from popping up on sites. For example, if I search for ';dogs'; on Google as soon as I type the letter ';d'; all the previous ';d'; word searches pop up.How do I clear out the cookies on my computer?
This has worked on most of the search fields I've tried it on.

Ensure the search field is empty and double-click on it.

This should reveal a complete list of all the search words you've used.

Select one of the search words and press the delete key.

Continuing until you've deleted all the words you want.

And make sure you don't tell your wife about this. ;) Just kidding. She probably already knows. How do I clear out the cookies on my computer?

Or you should be able to go to your C Drive. C:/Documents and Settings/Your User Profile/Cookies

Highlight them all(except the index file) and delete them. I havn't heard of any users having problems with the deletion of the index file but its better safe than sorry.

You can also run a search for temp files and delete them. Some of them won't delete because they are important to something. if it deletes it most likely wasn't important, however delete at your discretion.

Hope that helps.
Go to to tools then internet options then click on delete cookies.
This isn't spyware per the previous answer. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options. On the General tab, click Delete Cookies, and when that's done, click Delete Files. After that, click Clear History.

In Firefox, go to Tools %26gt; Clear Private Data, then select the options you need.
On Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options, then Delete Cookies. Another way is on Windows XP, right click on the green start button in the bottom left corner. Click explore all users, then click on a username and click the Cookies folder. Delete them all.
This is very easy to do.

1st, open Internet Explorer.

2nd, on the top bar click ';Tools, then internet options';

If you have internet explorer 7 (the one that comes with vista)
