Hi Miss Ba!!in,

This is a very interesting IT topic, not only because cleaning the history of a system preserves your privacy, but above all because such a clean up is necessary for any Computer System...

1. The Old Way:

Before, you would have to go into each program in order to make sure that you delete the history of sites visited, of programs downloaded, of documents searched, etc.

It was a mess, took about 30 min and half the time you would forget to delete some of the history...

2. CCLEANER:

But now you can freely download this miracle application called Ccleaner (for Crap Cleaner) at this site:

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Then click the ';Download'; tab, and select ';Download from filehippo.com';; and finally select ';Download Latest Version';.

Install and you're done.

This is a small application that you can launch every time you want to clean your computer; then you can even fine tune the precise history elements you want it to erase and those you want to keep.

As a rule of thumb, I suggest doing it once a week, that should be a good rhythm to keep your privacy intact and your system running like it was new!

Cheers.
Drop it off the side of a building. That'll do it.
depends what browser your using

if your using AOL click edit then clear toolbar history

if your using Internet Explorer click on tools then click on clear history
