I am on vista and I dont think my laptop is clear from viruses. Can any one tell me what is the best way to check and what downloads I may need to make sure I am as clean as the day it was purchased.How do I make sure my computer is clear from all kinds of viruses?

I had to do this before but with xp. If you want it as clean as the first day and u didnt have virus protection before,I would conciter putting a vista disk in and wiping it clean by booting from it. If you dont have a disk make one from www.mininova.org and type in windows vista. You will need to download utorrent from utorrent.com then if you download an iso,download clonecd and burn it from there,or use cdburnerxp,though it might work on vista
if it works properly the it is ok
