How to clear my computer of everything and re-install?

I am not sure how to do this but my computer is giving me weird messages. How do I clear everything to its original clean form?

Explain to me in simple, baby steps. Which CDs to I use?

In that case, It would be better if you Re-install Windows. I recommend you to install Windows XP. To Re-Install Operating System, please contact Hardware Vendor. How to clear my computer of everything and re-install?
you need to fix , not clear. do you have an antivirus program ? are you getting pop ups that just will not stop ? are your webpages getting hijacked, Do this. run your antivirus program in the safe mode, run a malware removal tool. To do a reinstall, you would need a bootable cd. and the install cd. You can fix this without doing all of that. go to start, run, type in msconfig, then in the boot ini. tab . select the safe mode and also check the internet box. it will re boot in safe with internet. and then run your antivirus. program. also, in the run window, type in mrt, this will remove the malware that may be installed. then when this is done , go to the msconfig again and this time in the first window. select the original boot. then apply , ok, then it will reboot in normal. Give this a shot.
When you boot your OS CD, it will ask you about existing partitions. Select to ';delete'; them all, and then tell it to create a new partition. That should be it. Without knowing which OS, it's hard to give an exact answer, but most are the same, whether XP, Linux or whatever. When they first install, they give you choices as to what to do with the hard drive....
