What happens when you clear your computer's cookies and cache?

It really just ';cleans up'; your search history.

Think of it in terms of this analogy: If you flush a toilet each time you use it, your toilet will stay cleaner and won't get clogged. Same for your browser cache ... if you just keep dumping and dumping stuff into it and never ';flushing'; (clearing) ... it will eventually jam.

An overloaded browser cache can make your computer run slower and lead to pop-ups from previous sites you've visited. Your computer will also be more vulnerable to spyware, adware, malware, etc. unless you clear your browsing history.

You really should toss your cookies and clear your history each time you close your internet connection ... and especially anytime you're using a computer in a public place. What happens when you clear your computer's cookies and cache?
It is commonly referred to as Web cookies, tracking cookies or just cookies, are parcels of text sent by a server to a web browser and then sent back unchanged by the browser each time it accesses that server. HTTP cookies are used for authenticating, tracking, and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents

Basically cookies stored in your computer have both advantage/disadvantage. The advantage is on simple term.. makes your browsing/chatting/buying activities much faster on that particular website.

It is advisable to keep cookies of websites that you trust only. Usually i clear my computer cookies at lest once a week or twice to free up memory space of your computer and to prevent malicious websites to track down my Internet activities ( example Cookie Hijacking, Cookie poisoning, Cross-site cooking and etc..)

Good Luck! What happens when you clear your computer's cookies and cache?
All the sites you visited won't be in your search history anymore that's all.
