Where do I go to clear stuff from my computer?

I am having a hard time accesing certain sites like myspace or my online college page. My dad told me its because I barely have any space on my computer. How do I erase stuff?Where do I go to clear stuff from my computer?
Go to ';my computer'; and left click on local disk C: (or hard drive location) and select ';properties';, then under the ';general'; tab click on ';disk cleanup'; to delete all unnecessary files such as temporary files, etc... :) hope this helps

You can also go to the ';tools'; tab and defragment your hard drive to save space, this takes a while though.. but it helps your computer run faster, I don't think that it will necessarily improve your browsing speed... That might be due to a weak internet connection or something else.Where do I go to clear stuff from my computer?
i don't think you cant get into myspace cause you re PC is full but any way click on the start menu then click on control panel then double click on add remove programs then uninstall what you don't want
depedending on what you want to delete just go into to things like my pictures and music for example in my documents and right click them and click delete for the ones you want to delete

Or.

for big programes such as Window media Player or whatever press start menu click on Set Programes access and defult then click on the left menu bar Click add or remove programs *top one* and find what you want and delete *goodluck.
Very unlikely that lack of space is affecting web access. However, if you download CCleaner that will get rid of more than disk clean up will. Also go through your data first and delete anything you don't want, no clean up program will delete your data files.

More likely he's added stuff to restricted sites in internet options (esp Myspace!)
Hey

Having to much STUFF on you PC won't make your Internet connection slow. But if you want to clean up a bit you can always go to: control panel and then to ad/remove programs. There you can remove all unwanted programs.

Cheers
I had 30 movies on my 80 gig hdd and that left me with just under half the drive. But I hate it full or mostly full so I right click the item I wish to delete, pick delete, and left click it. it goes to the recycle bin. Then I empty the Recycle bin. It opens up the drive even though all that was deleted was the first part of the item you deleted
go to start%26gt;all programs%26gt;accessories%26gt;system tool%26gt;disk cleanup. run this and check box everything but the last two. this should remove unnecessary files from your computer
Your dad may be jerking your chain....However, the easiest way to clear your temp files, etc. would be using CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com). I would also suggest you remove unneeded programs from within the Add/Remove Programs in the Control panel. Otherwise, browse your documents and start clearing out old documents that you don't need anymore....Good luck!
Hi there to you!

First delete files through disc cleanup which you will find in start button to accessories to system tools then disc cleanup.

After you delete all temp files I recommend downloading an evidence shredder program. I use one through http://mediapalace.com The links there are to 2 programs. They are: http://www.erasemyfiles.com/ or

http://www.deletemyevidence.com/

Do a disc defragment as well by going back to system tools and looking for disc defragment. Do this after you erase files using one of the erase file programs.

Hope this helps.
