If I reboot my computer (reinstall my operating system and pretty much starting new again), will it clear any viruses or trojans and such from my computer? I have a dell computerIf I reboot my computer, will it clear any viruses or trojans and such from my computer?
Yes if you put a disk in that will delete everything literally anything you want to save put it onto a memory stick and then just reinstall the program... If you are using rogers I would download their antivirus thing like i have i dont have any problems with my computer pop-ups tell me if a virus is trying to get onto my computer... but before that, i had a virus and my mom paid this guy she knows $50 and he did everything on the computer now i have windows xp and i love it! i dont like vista as much as xp :)
good luck!If I reboot my computer, will it clear any viruses or trojans and such from my computer?
Ya it should if you wipe your harddrive, and reboot
BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PRODUCT KEY
if you dont, this program can read your computer and grab it for you
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/keyfind鈥?/a>
without the product key you cannot reboot also you will jump through the roof once you realise how fast your computer is rebooted. also if you want a good anti-virus try this
http://free.avg.com
get the free version. Also if you think you have a virus DO NOT enter ANY personal information such as bank pin etc. into your computer, the virus may be recording your every move and word.
If by ';reboot'; you mean ';format'; or reinstall the os, then it sure will. Doing so erases everything off of the hard drive and starts you fresh and virus-free! Everything should be faster too if you haven't done this in a long time. Rebooting a computer is just turning it off and turning it back on.
LOL :-D
Yes. Reinstall everything will get rid of the virus.
BUT if you reinstall everything everytime you get a virus.
You will spent 99% of your computing time reinstalling your windows OS instead of doing anything more interesting.
There are lots of free anti-virus programs like Avira, Avast and AVG that would remove virus. So please don't be a fool and get an anti-virus program.
possibly, in most cases yes but jsut for chits n giggles? before you go thru all that drama? do this go to link below install and run the free program, then reboot and see if the issue is not then solved hey its free , takes only a few mins what have you got to lose oh and this pgm will nto damage or remove any of your files or personal things whatsoever eNjOy~
If you reinstall windows, Yes.
and you can also transfer all work or pictures on an external hard drive to save them. BUT make sure there isn't a virus attached to any of those items first!!!
well, if you erase everything and there is not damage in your system it will clear any viruses, but If your system is damaged already you have to buy a antivirus program first and then reboot your computer.
If you are having a virus or Malware problem, you should receive professional Malware removal support from a site like http://geekpolice.net/
I recommended it because they provide real fast support compared to other sites and a cure is guaranteed.
Yes, but I wouldn't back anything up because these files will be infected then you will reinfect your computer once you put them back in to your computer. Make sure you wright down the license to all your programs before you reinstall your OS
uh no if you want to remove them you'll need an anti-virus program. if you don't want to buy one there are free home versions available on the internet. i generally use avast but you can find others out there as well.
get a free copy of avs or avast run them first, you may save yourself having to format and reinstall everything, choose one of the applications don't try to use both of them
Yes, but you'll have to reformat the hard drive in order to do so. This will wipe out anything and everything that exists on the drive.
I suggest running a good anti-virus program to get rid of any computer bugs. Just rebooting will not clear up your virus problem.
Well, that's not a reboot. Rebooting is just restarting.
Bet yes, reinstalling the os will fix your problems.
Yes, once you reinstall your new OS, you have to format your HD that will give you a new start.
yes, i will clear EVERYTHING and bring it back tot he setting when u first bought it
Rebooting?No. A complete restore.Yes.
rebooting is just restarting
reinstalling should do the trick, but be sure to totally wipe the hard drive first.
If you reformat your compy yes. Rebooting is just shutting it down and restarting it.
you need to have it reformatted
trust me :) i have had it done several times because i kept doing stupid things lol
It worked for me
no you have to do that when you first get it
no cuz its still in memory board.. u gotta go get a professionals help
Most Likely, yes. However, if it doesn't, then do a system restore to go back to a date when you weren't infected.
YOU CAN'T REBOOT YOU HAVE TO REPLACE YOUR HARD DRIVE.....THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T WATCH PORN
Are you sure this question doesn't belong in the STD category. All this talk about Trojans and viruses, jeez!
